In January 2026, the Cooperative renewed its ISO 14001 certification, consolidating its commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement in its environmental performance. This recognition endorses the proper functioning of its environmental management system and reinforces its commitment to a responsible and efficient production model.

This dedication is particularly relevant given that the Cooperative operates within the Albufera Natural Park, an area of high ecological value that requires greater efforts to preserve the environment and use resources efficiently.

In recent years, the Cooperative's environmental strategy has focused on measuring, controlling and reducing energy consumption, as well as progressively reducing the carbon footprint generated by its activity. Significant progress was made in 2025, including the addition of a 100% electric vehicle, the installation of LED lighting in the facilities, the installation of meters for more accurate monitoring of energy consumption and the commissioning of a solar panel system with a total power of 90 kW. The renewal audit was passed without any non-conformities, reflecting the commitment and involvement of the entire team in environmental management.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Cooperative will continue along the same lines, setting new targets to further reduce its environmental impact. These include renewing the fleet to reduce CO₂ emissions, expanding LED lighting, implementing active policies to reduce paper use, and improving the insulation and energy efficiency of cold rooms through more sustainable construction solutions.

With these initiatives, the Cooperative reaffirms its commitment to sustainability, the protection of the Albufera Natural Park and the development of responsible agricultural activity, always in harmony with the environment and the conservation of the land.
