Our commitment to quality

The Valencian Cooperative UNIPRO El Perelló is immersed in a process of continuous improvement, which is considered a fundamental pillar to guarantee a quality product. For this, the company is based on the quality management system IFS FOOD, GLOBAL G.A.P and ISO 14000.

The UNIPRO Cooperative is committed to developing a quality culture plan that will enable the company to develop ideas, attitudes and behaviours, both individual and group, on quality culture.

IFS

Food safety and the quality of our products has always been one of our primary objectives. That is why we have been IFS Food certified since 2018. The objective with IFS Food is to improve the integrity of our products, efficiency and provide transparency and traceability to consumers so that they can trust the products they buy.

GLOBAL G.A.P.

We are concerned about food safety and environmental protection, so we work to ensure compliance with good practices in the sector. In our philosophy of continuous improvement, we are certified in the voluntary standard GLOBALG.A.P. With GLOBAL G.A.P., we want to evaluate the entire production process of the certified product, from planting and subsequent agricultural activities to harvesting and shipping of the product. The protocol is based on Food Safety criteria. It contemplates the production techniques with the objective of evaluating the use of cultural and biological alternatives and the controlled use of phytosanitary products to minimize the impact of residues on food, man and his environment.

Nature Parks

The products marketed by UNIPRO are certified with the Parcs Naturals brand, a brand that offers a seal of quality differentiated in our products, which are also produced with the commitment to respect the environment.

In order to comply with the greatest number of environmental requirements imposed by the Administration, it is essential to use tools that integrate the environment into the overall management of the cooperative. The implementation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14001 standard offers us the possibility of systematizing, in a simple way, the environmental aspects generated in each of the activities carried out in our organization, in addition to promoting environmental protection and pollution prevention from a point of view of balance with the socioeconomic aspects. Thanks to the implementation of this Environmental Management System according to the international standard ISO 14001, we are positioned as socially responsible, differentiating us from our competitors and guaranteeing and reinforcing, in a positive way, our image before our clients and consumers. Among other environmental advantages, it optimizes the management of resources and waste, reduces the negative environmental impacts derived from the activity or those risks associated with accidental situations.
